This morning I was moping around the house (as I usually do when it rains). Sick of being stuck inside I decided to take my camera out and make the most of my day off.
I was driving down to the dredge hole hoping to get some landscape shots of the water when I stumbled across a mass of different toadstools and fungi under the dense pine trees.
Fungi are an incredibly important part of nature’s ecosystems and play a vital role in ensuring biodiversity. They have also been used for medicinal purposes for centuries.
