Keeping it Local – A Day Trip To Woolshed Falls

With overseas travel so accessible these days to an ever growing middle class, it is easy to get caught up in the hype of traveling to exotic faraway destinations and risk missing out on the beauty of those places that are ‘just around the corner’.

Don’t get me wrong, I love to travel overseas and experience new cultures, foods and world wonders. However,  it is also great to be able to slow down and visit or revisit local destinations and just explore the Australian bush; especially now that spring is emerging.

Below are some photos from yesterdays trip to Woolshed Falls near Beechworth, Victoria which is one of those spots that we rarely visit despite it being somewhere relatively close that we often drive past and overlook.edit7
